Summary

Songs Garden
4451 Towne Lake Pkwy Suite 320
Woodstock, GA 30189
(Rose Creek Shopping Center, Next to Publix)

I’ve been eating Chinese food since I was a kid, and have a fondness for my chicken chow mein.  I was very happy when I moved to the area, and found Songs Garden.

Songs Garden

Songs Garden is located in the Towne Lake/Rose Creek area and serves its Chinese Cuisine Tuesday through Sunday.  Itś the closest in proximity to my home, and I’ve found that its style of szechuan cooking to be very appealing.

My family orders the chicken chow mein, pepper steak, sweet and sour chicken, and copious amounts of won-ton soup.  Weve yet to run into any issues with the meals weve received.

Theres not much room to eat inside, since they mostly focus on take-out, but if you do decide you want to eat in the restaurant it is possible (although the tables are pretty small).  Also, they unfortunately no longer deliver.  To be honest, these are the only items of fault I have found with this restaurant.

So, if you like szechuan cooking, I can easily recommend Songs Garden.

Update July 2017

I can no longer recommend Song’s Garden as the spot for good Chinese food.  The recipes are no longer consistent, meaning a good taste one night and a very much NOT good taste another night.  I’ve also noticed cheaper ingredients (assuming this is to increase revenue), making the dishes drop in overall quality.  I’ve been told that the previous owner has retired, and sold the business.  The new owners don’t seem to be as dedicated to quality and consistency as the previous owner was, unfortunately removing this once delicious venue from my dining catalog.  As such, I am modifying the ratings I originally gave in order to reflect the new standard of service.

Not good anymore

They can't even get sweet and sour chicken right anymore. They seem to be using a cheaper cut of chicken which gets hard and stringy when they cook it. Takes all the pleasure from a simple and delicious meal. Will be getting my chinese food fix from somewhere else from now on 🙁

Sad endings

I have been hanging on hoping the new owners would find their groove and the food would improve. It hasn't. So long Song's Garden, it was nice dining with you. I won't be ordering from you again!!!

Is there a way to delete my old favorable rating?  I don't think the place deserves it anymore.

New Owners

I agree with what someone else said. Something changed awhile back, and the food really isn't of the same quality. Looks like the original Song, of Song's garden, has retired and transferred ownership to another family member. While I'm glad he kept it in the family, I wish that they'd adhered to his specific recipes and quality. Not as good as it used to be, for sure.

It changed

I used to LOVE Song's garden, but something is different. The food is not consistent any more, it is different each time I order it. And it doesn't taste as good as it used to. I think I need to find a new chinese spot 🙁
